BOOKINGS & PAYMENT: : 50% of tariff is payable as a non-refundable deposit within 7 days of making a booking. This will confirm your booking as per the written confirmation provided by your consultant & indicates your acceptance of obligation for amounts payable by you for the booking. Balance is due not less than 60 or 30 days prior to arrival date (non-refundable). The exact timing is dependent on the property. GST is included in tariff where applicable. Payment of deposit is your confirmation and acceptance of Booking Conditions. RESERVATION INFORMATION: making a reservation for a property or service, we advise you to receive written information about that property/service. Please ask your The Snow Travel Company consultant for this information. The Snow Travel Company reserves the right to charge an amendment fee for changes to bookings. WEATHER CONDITIONS: The Snow Travel Company, accommodation houses and all services listed in The Snow Travel Company brochure are not responsible for skiing/weather conditions. If in the event that a ski resort should close prior to a departure date, we will offer an alternative and relocate you to another resort (subject to availability). If you do not travel, some components may be refundable. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: : Refunds are at the discretion of individual suppliers of each component. Should any component herein offer a refund, The Snow Travel Company reserves the right to retain a 20% cancellation fee on the full tariff under all circumstances. Cancellation up to 60 days before departure can suffer a cost of 50% of the total booking amount. Once full payment is received, it is at the discretion of the supplier and there will be a minimum 20% cancellation fee levied by The Snow Travel Company. Cancellation within 30 days of departure will incur a charge of 100% of the booking total. INSURANCE: We strongly recommend insurance to cover against cancellation, personal liability and theft of your personal belongings (including ski/snowboard equipment). When booking please ask your The Snow Travel Company consultant for details. Please note that insurance must be paid in full and a completed form received by The Snow Travel Company before a policy can be issued. NB: Under the provisions of the Health Act, it is illegal to cover medical or hospital expenses in domestic insurance policies. BONDS: Bonds are collectable on apartment bookings either with final payment or by the supplier upon arrival. Bonds are usually payable by credit card imprint or cash. Please check with your Snow Travel Company consultant as properties differ in their payment requirements. Any damage will be charged against the credit card or cash being held as a bond. RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE: When organising your reservation, The Snow Travel Company is acting as a reservation agent. We always do our best to ensure all your requirements are met. The standards of accommodation and other services contained in The Snow Travel Company brochure are based on various factors – these are generally accepted as being indicative of a certain class or suitability for purpose of the accommodation/service. Descriptions herein of the accommodation houses and services are compiled from information provided by the properties/suppliers themselves. The Snow Travel Company does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions, or default (whether negligent or otherwise) of those properties/suppliers providing services in connection with your reservation pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct and exclusive control. The Snow Travel Company, its respective servants, agents and employees shall not be liable for any death, injury, damage, loss, property (including baggage), additional expenses, accident, delay or irregularity, whether in property, person or otherwise resulting directly or indirectly from delay, changes in accommodation, breakdown in equipment or vehicles, weather, strike, sickness, theft, cancellation of or changes in itinerary, or other causes beyond their control. Likewise the above listed shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses, accident, delay or irregularity, whether to property, person or otherwise arising in connection with any accommodation, vehicle, transport or other services. The right is also reserved by The Snow Travel Company to alter the price, cancel or withdraw any property, component, service or tour. All fares are subject to change and acceptance of all documents confirms your agreement to these conditions.

PASSPORTS & VISAS: A valid passport (with a validity of at least 6 months after return date) is required for all persons departing from Australia and non-Australian a valid Australian re-entry visa to return. Australian passport holders require an entry visa for countries (including EEC and USA for stays longer than 90 days). Non-Australian passport holders must check on their own individual visa requirements. It is the responsibility of any traveller who has a recorded police conviction (regardless of how minor) to check with the consulate of the country they are travelling to, whether they require a visa. STC can assist you in obtaining the necessary documentation; however, it is the passenger’s sole responsibility to ensure they are in possession of the necessary documentation and in compliance of current government and transportation companies’ regulations. Check www.smarttraveller.gov.au for the latest visa requirements. COSTING & RESERVATIONS are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. A payment of deposit will indicate an acceptance of the booking conditions by the purchaser and/or client. Credit card payments may attract a surcharge. FINAL PAYMENT Final payment must be made at least 60 days prior to departure from Australia or as per your personal costing. CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS: Cancellations within 80 days of departure will incur additional charges or fees as levied by the hotels, apartments or operators which in some cases can be as high as 100%. A minimum of 20% will be charged. Tour costs are expressed in Australian dollars and are subject to review and change according to exchange rate fluctuations until the final payment is received by STC. Airlines charges accordingly to the fare and taxes in force on the day of ticketing. LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Reservations made less than 80 days prior to arrival must be paid in full within 7 days of booking. If not received, the booking will automatically be cancelled. AIRFARES: Flights cost subject to availability in the class of reservation. Airport taxes and fuel surcharges are included. Please note that taxes and fuel surcharges may vary slightly upon ticketing. You will be notified of the total taxes payable upon final payment of your holiday. At time of booking your flights please provide STC with the correct spelling of your names as they appear on your passport. Name changes cannot be made after booking your flights, and incorrect names of your flight tickets may result in you being refused boarding at flight check-in. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that all international travellers be insured to cover against cancellation, personal liability and theft of your personal belongings (including ski/snowboard equipment).
